Books for a Better World

The results of the 2012 Nautilus Awards are in, and it’s no surprise that many of the finalists have been featured on NCReview and interviewed by Miriam Knight on NCRadio during the past year. Our congratulations to all of the winners, with a special nod to those we’ve had the pleasure of talking with directly, and who generously shared a special message for NCReview audience members.

Here’s a sampling of the 2012 winners:

Meg Wheatley: So Far From Home: Lost and Found in Our Brave New World

Eben Alexander: Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon’s Journey into the Afterlife

Arielle Ford: Wabi Sabi Love: The Ancient Art of Finding Perfect Love in Imperfect Relationships

Julia Assante: Exploring the Afterlife and Transforming Our Fear of Death

Judith Blackstone: Belonging Here: A Guide for the Spiritually Sensitive Person

Janisse Ray: The Seed Underground: A Growing Revolution to Save Food

Julia Cameron: The Prosperous Heart: Creating a Life of “Enough”

Now in its 13th year, The Nautilus Awards seeks and promotes well-written and -produced books with messages about caring for, understanding, and improving every aspect of our lives and relationships.
